Time is ticking down to our next marathon Retronauts recording session! We gotta harvest some letters, eh?

Next up is... not a video game, actually. Instead, by Patron request, we're going to step back and look at a work that has only barely intersected with video games in a direct sense but has definitely had a massive influence on the genre: Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's Nausicäa of the Valley of the Wind. Here's what we're gonna talk about:

  • The original manga
  • The anime adaptation
  • The rare video game adaptation
  • How other games have taken inspiration from Nausicäa
