Retronauts Episode 602: Evercade

Come Get Some (retro games you can play anywhere)

Confession time: I enjoy retro games, but I enjoy buying new ways to theoretically play retro games even more. I also talk to Stuart Gipp fairly frequently, so I've heard him say the words "ever cade" many times over the last five years—yet I never asked him what precisely those words meant.

Now I no longer need to, as Stuart has conducted an interview with a number of people behind the scenes at Evercade to tell all of us about the retro-focused handheld console and the work that goes into keeping classic games available and playable. Turns out if I don't ask a question and just wait patiently, a podcast will appear offering me the answer (note: this strategy may be untenable)!

Description: New hardware is always nice, especially when it’s focused on physical media. Stuart Gipp speaks to Blaze Entertainment about Evercade’s remarkable (and exclusive) Duke Nukem Remastered, their upcoming carts, and about The Fidgetts being impossible.
